RESOURCES FOR MEETINGS
Business Partner Members
IPMA places importance on including Business Partner Members in chapter meetings. These members serve as valuable resources for our organization, and their active involvement is highly encouraged. It is recommended to extend invitations to Business Partner Members for chapter meetings, as they often appreciate the opportunity to host a meeting or sponsor an event. Their participation can contribute to the success and growth of our chapters.

IPMA Website
If you haven't explored other sections of the IPMA website yet, we highly recommend taking the time to browse through the entire site. You will find a wealth of information on various topics, including chapter activities, a membership directory, resources available to members, position papers addressing relevant issues for managers and supervisors in the legal field, details about the IPMA's annual compensation survey, links to law-related websites, upcoming event information, conference highlights, and much more. The website is designed to provide comprehensive resources and keep you informed about the latest developments and opportunities within IPMA.

VOLUNTEERISM AND RECOGNITION
Getting Involved
The IPMA values the active participation and contribution of its members in various initiatives. As a Chair, you have already taken on a leadership role within the Association. To encourage broader involvement, IPMA has adopted a task-oriented program, recognizing that members may have varying availability and preferences for committee involvement.

While attending group meetings or working on multiple initiatives may not be feasible for all members, they can still make a meaningful impact by taking on specific tasks. We encourage you to inspire and engage your chapter members, urging them to get involved in these tasks. By doing so, your group can stay informed and connected with the activities and developments taking place within IPMA.

Remember, having a diverse group of members contributing their skills and efforts to a variety of tasks can greatly benefit the group and enhance its overall engagement with IPMA.

Recognition & Awards
The IPMA Awards Committee plays a crucial role in acknowledging and celebrating the contributions of IPMA members who make significant contributions to the organization and promote the profession of managers and supervisors within the legal environment. As Chairs, you hold valuable insight into the accomplishments and dedication of your chapter members.

When you receive solicitations for award nominations, we encourage you to consider nominating deserving members for recognition. You are well-positioned to identify those individuals who have made notable contributions to IPMA and the profession. Member of the Moment, Community Spirit, and Pro Bono Awards are just a few examples of the recognition opportunities available.

To gather more information and access nomination forms, we recommend visiting the IPMA awards page. It provides comprehensive details about the various awards and the nomination process.

By actively participating in the nomination process, you contribute to the recognition of outstanding individuals within IPMA and help promote the profession as a whole.
