Committees
Volunteer for a Committee
Committees are designed to execute the mission and goals of the Board of Directors each year through strategy and planning meetings. The Board looks to the committees for suggestions and recommendations concerning initiatives, as well as to carry
out the committees’ action plans for the year.

Awards Committee
The IPMA maintains several awards that serve to recognize achievements in IPMA volunteerism, community service, and pro bono activities.
Brian Bernhard | Co-chair Alison Sinclair | Co-chair Communications Committee
This committee develops member and public communications plans in coordination with the IPMA management team. Participate in the editorial process and content development for Inspired Leadership, the IPMA's quarterly professional publication.
Katie Barbagelata | Co-chair Patty Maxwell | Co-chair Conference Committee
This committee plans the educational content and selects presenters for the IPMA Annual Conference.

Explore recent and developing trends that affect the responsibilities of managers and supervisors of personnel within a legal environment and the employees they manage. The information gathered is used to develop appropriate and timely educational
content.

Participate in the IPMA's efforts to recruit and retain members, provide relevant and valuable member benefits, and coordinate the first-time
attendee orientation at conference.

Assist in the identification and development of content and speakers for training programs offered to IPMA members and prospective members. Develop best practices and resources to support member success in the management and supervision of
personnel within a legal environment.
